PoE Switch · Gigabit
For mixed networks — cameras plus access points plus office data — gigabit access ports are the modern baseline. ONV's gigabit PoE line covers 5 to 52 ports, unmanaged through L3.

Gigabit PoE is the default choice whenever a switch carries more than cameras: Wi-Fi 6 access points that can genuinely exceed 100 Mbps, workstations and phones sharing the segment, high-bitrate multi-sensor cameras, or uplinks aggregating several switches. The ONV gigabit PoE range is broad — gigabit smart models at the edge, L2+ managed models as the mainstream, and 2.5G/10G uplink flagships at the top.
This page is the cross-cut: models whose official names state gigabit across the access layer. Buyers who already know their port count or management tier will find the narrower pages in the Products menu; buyers comparing the whole field start here.

Gigabit access is worth its premium when any port serves a device faster than 100 Mbps or when the segment's aggregate traffic is growing. Pure camera segments on fixed bitrates remain well served by 10/100M smart models — the honest split is in the traffic, not the brochure. Whichever tier you choose, keep uplinks one step ahead of access: gigabit access wants gigabit or 10G uplinks, never 100M.
Office and campus networks, hotels, hospitals, schools — anywhere cameras share the infrastructure with data and wireless.
For the camera ports themselves, usually — a camera stream is 2–16 Mbps. Gigabit earns its place on the uplinks and on shared segments. Many designs mix: 10/100M camera switches at the edge, gigabit everywhere the traffic aggregates.
The catalogue includes 2.5G uplink and 2.5G access models aimed at Wi-Fi 6/6E access points, whose real throughput sits between 1G and 2.5G. See the 10G page for that series.
